Collection: Kervens Fils

Artistic approach // With a passion for different materials, Kervens works with oil paint, acrylic, pencil, charcoal, airbrush and more. He loves to play with vibrant colors and has mastered black and white, in all its hues. He loves different textures and mixing styles, such as abstract and realistic. His favorite subjects are portraits and animals.

Having worked in a car body shop, Kervens has mastered surface preparation. He enjoys making art on unconventional objects, such as cars, furniture and bicycles. Accustomed to large surfaces, his canvases are generally large. He uses bodywork products to protect or give special effects to his canvases.

The practice of tattooing serves Kervens in the composition of his works. As tattoos cannot be erased, Kervens is used to dealing with the unexpected and harmonizing art with the imperfections of a body, canvas or piece of furniture. Accustomed to working under pressure, under observation, he can understand a customer's intention, but put his own creative touch to it, making a work unique.

Having become a father nine years ago, he now takes a more critical look at society. As his children observe him, Kervens conveys values to them through his paintings.
