Yann Lemieux is a professional painter based in Quebec City. His work has resonated with collectors in Canada, the United States and Europe.
Coming from a background that did not destine him for painting, he first evolved in the fields of animation, events and management. These experiences have influenced the way he disseminates his art, notably through live performances, where he moves his studio to event venues to paint in front of an audience. Since 2016, he has participated in numerous conventions, festivals and private events, creating live works in front of thousands of people.
Her production is centered on the creation of original works, to which she adds custom commissions. Notable clients include Groupe Canam, who commissioned her to create a series of eight custom paintings.
After having been represented in art galleries, notably in Quebec and Ontario, in 2021 he founded L'Atelier Galerie Yann Lemieux, a hybrid space located in Quebec City. The space combines a creative studio with an exhibition gallery, and regularly hosts immersive events that encourage exchange between artists and the public.
Alongside his artistic practice, Yann Lemieux is actively involved in cultural mediation with a variety of clienteles, including people living with disabilities, marginalized youth and seniors.
